What does PPH mean?

PPH is an anorectal surgical procedure known as anastomotic supramucosal hemorrhoidal circumcision. PPH surgery is clinically known as anastomotic hemorrhoidal mucosal circumcision, which is a new type of minimally invasive surgery. Mainly through the use of anastomosis to achieve the purpose of surgical treatment, can be cut off the hemorrhoids above the rectal mucosa ring, and hemorrhoids upward lifting, so that the anal cushion upward to return to the position, to be able to prevent hemorrhoids caused by the serious prolapse of the rectum. The PPH procedure is also relatively simple to perform, and first requires the introduction of a circular anal canal dilator in the anal area, with the aim of resetting the prolapsed hemorrhoids and the anal mucosa. After that, the prolapsed mucosa will be sutured using an anoscopic stapler and the circular anastomosis will be rotated and the suture will be tied in a knot. The last step is to pull the suture to allow the mucosal prolapse to enter into the anastomosis and then to perform a circumferential incision. If you are clearly diagnosed with internal hemorrhoids or mixed hemorrhoids and need to do anastomotic suprahemorrhoidal mucosal cricothyrotomy, it is recommended to do it under the guidance of a professional physician to avoid improper operation that may affect recovery or cause complications.
