Is 107/68 normal?

A blood pressure of 107/68mmHg is considered normal, but blood pressure fluctuates, so repeat measurements can be taken to avoid missing the diagnosis of hypertension. A normal systolic blood pressure of 90-139 mmHg and a diastolic blood pressure of 60-89 mmHg, a systolic blood pressure of 90-119 mmHg and a diastolic blood pressure of 60-79 mmHg are considered to be normal; a systolic blood pressure of 120-139 mmHg and/or a systolic blood pressure of 80-89 mmHg are considered to be normal high-value blood pressures, with the latter having an increased likelihood of developing into high blood pressure. Blood pressure has a certain degree of volatility and also has a circadian rhythm. A blood pressure of 107/68 mmHg is a normal blood pressure value, and retesting of the blood pressure on a non-simultaneous day is also required to avoid missed diagnosis of hypertension due to chance error. Patients are advised to retest their blood pressure, if it is still within the normal blood pressure range then it is normal, if there is any abnormality in the retest, they should seek medical advice promptly.
