Amoxicillin can not be taken at the same time with propofol, allopurine, tetracycline, oral anticoagulants, methotrexate and other drugs. 1. Probenecid: probenecid will inhibit the physiological function of renal tubules, affecting the excretion of amoxicillin, and concomitant use will increase the blood concentration of amoxicillin, which may increase the toxicity of amoxicillin. 2. Allopurinol: Amoxicillin and allopurinol may increase the possibility of allergic skin reactions when taken together. 3. Tetracycline: Tetracycline antibacterial drugs may interfere with the bactericidal effect of amoxicillin. 4. Oral anticoagulants: Amoxicillin and oral anticoagulants may cause prolongation of prothrombin when taken together. 5. Methotrexate: Amoxicillin affects the normal metabolism of methotrexate and may increase the toxicity of methotrexate in the body. Patients are advised to use the medication in strict compliance with the doctor’s instructions, and need to consult the physician in advance if they need to be combined with other drugs.
