What does Lindane Antibacterial Cream do?

Lindane Antibacterial Cream generically known as Lindane Cream is useful in the treatment of scabies and pubic lice infestation. Lindane, also known as hexachlorobenzene propionate, is an effective drug for killing scabies, as well as lice and nits. The principle is that Lindane, after direct contact with the body surface of scabies and lice, enters the body cavity and bloodstream through the body wall, causing paralysis of the nervous system and death. Adverse effects of Lindane cream may include local irritation symptoms, dizziness, urticaria and greater toxic effects on the central nervous system such as seizures after prolonged heavy use. Allergy to this drug and a history of epilepsy are prohibited. Pregnant women and infants under 4 years of age are prohibited, children over 4 years of age should reduce the amount of use, elderly patients should be used with caution.
