White ringworm is completely curable, but first a diagnosis must be made that it is indeed leukoderma. Tinea albuginea usually manifests as a kind of white hypertrophic patch on the scalp, and there is hair loss. The first step in the examination is to remove the skin flakes from the periphery of the lesion for microscopic examination, and if there is indeed a fungus, it can be treated with antifungal medication in a timely manner, usually with oral itraconazole or lamictal, or oral fluconazole. The topical medication is usually Lemetil cream, or use compound ketoconazole cream for external application.
