Is R-chop effective for stage 4 lymphoma?

R-chop is effective in stage 4 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and not in Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Lymphomas are divided into Hodgkin lymphoma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The commonly used chemotherapy regimen for Hodgkin’s lymphoma is ABVD, i.e., doxorubicin + bleomycin + vincristine + dacarbazine; the preferred chemotherapy regimen for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is R-CHOP, i.e., rituximab + cyclophosphamide + vincristine + doxorubicin + prednisone.
Stage 4 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, i.e., the patient’s lymphoma condition is with diffuse single or multiple extra-nodal organ invasion with or without associated lymph node enlargement, or isolated extra-nodal organ invasion with distant lymph node enlargement, requires aggressive treatment to control the progression of the disease as much as possible.
Most non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas that are treated with the R-CHOP regimen achieve remission but are likely to recur. The efficacy is not exactly the same depending on the patient’s age, stage, number of extranodal lesions, physical condition and other factors. Actively cooperate with the doctor’s treatment and follow the doctor’s instructions for medication.
