How to treat granuloma of the lungs

Pulmonary granuloma is mostly caused by infection, and drug treatment (such as anti-tuberculosis treatment, anti-fungal treatment, immunosuppressive treatment) and surgical treatment are usually adopted in the clinic. 1. Drug therapy: tuberculosis granuloma caused by tuberculosis infection is usually treated with systemic anti-tuberculosis therapy (e.g. oral rifampicin, isoniazid, etc.). Autoimmune diseases that form non-necrotizing granulomas, i.e. pulmonary nodular disease, are mainly treated with glucocorticosteroids (e.g. methylprednisolone) and immunosuppressive therapy (e.g. cyclophosphamide, methotrexate, etc.). There are also lung granulomas formed by fungal or other bacterial infections, which can be treated with cephalosporin therapy (e.g. ceftazidime) and antifungal therapy (e.g. fluconazole, etc.). 2. Surgery: such as larger tuberculous granulomas; granulomas formed by foreign bodies (usually centered on a foreign body, surrounded by lymphocytes, macrophages, epithelioid cells, fibroblasts wrapped around it), which cannot be relieved by medication require surgical treatment. Once found when the lung granuloma, should promptly go to the hospital, as soon as possible to give symptomatic treatment, so as to avoid aggravation of the condition.
