Mycoplasma pneumonia can be treated with azithromycin, which has a long half-life and is therefore recommended to be given by infusion or orally for no more than 5 days in general. If the symptoms do not improve significantly, treatment with erythromycin IV or oral roxithromycin can be continued. Azithromycin belongs to the macrolide class of antibiotics, which has good effect on pneumonia caused by mycoplasma and chlamydia infection, but with the clinical application, there are some patients who develop resistance. If the patient is not effective in applying azithromycin treatment, adults over 18 years old can also choose to breathe quinolones, such as levofloxacin and moxifloxacin tablets.
