Does pediatric mycoplasma pneumonia cause recurrent fevers?

Pediatric mycoplasma pneumonia may present with recurrent fever. Chilliness and fever is one of the typical symptoms of Mycoplasma pneumonia in children, usually the temperature of the fever is around 39 ℃, and Mycoplasma fever is often manifested as persistent fever or flaccid fever, and it is very likely to have recurrent fever. However, not all children with mycoplasma pneumonia will have high fever due to the different physical condition of each person, and some of them will only have low fever or even no fever at all. In addition to fever, some children with Mycoplasma pneumonia may have a cough, sore throat, headache, and sub-sternal pain. Most children with mycoplasma pneumonia have a severe cough, which is dry at the beginning and may be followed by coughing up white sputum at a later stage. If a child develops any of these classic symptoms of mycoplasma pneumonia, seek medical attention to avoid delaying treatment.
