Pediatric Mycoplasma pneumonia and lobar pneumonia may be acquired at the same time. Mycoplasma pneumonia and lobar pneumonia belong to two types of pneumonia in different ways of categorization, respectively. According to the pathologic classification pneumonia can be divided into lobar pneumonia, lobular pneumonia and interstitial pneumonia. Mycoplasma pneumonia is caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection, the main pathological manifestation of interstitial pneumonia, sometimes X-ray examination can be seen at the same time, uniform and consistent piece of shadow like lobar pneumonia changes; when mycoplasma pneumonia mixed with bacterial infections, it can also be called lobar, lobular or segmental changes. When these two conditions occur, pediatric mycoplasma pneumonia and lobar pneumonia can coexist. Pediatric patients should be seen aggressively when they have pneumonia to avoid exacerbating the condition.
