The first dose of hepatitis B vaccine should be given as soon as possible within 24 hours after birth, followed by the second and third doses of hepatitis B vaccine at the child’s full term and at six months, thus completing the standard hepatitis B vaccination. There is no fixed age for receiving the hepatitis B vaccine. If the hepatitis B surface antibody is found to be negative at the time of the recheck of the quantification of the five hepatitis B items, the hepatitis B vaccine needs to be revaccinated. If the hepatitis B quantification is done and the titer of hepatitis B surface antibody is above 100mIU/ml, no hepatitis B vaccination is required. If the titer of hepatitis B surface antibody is between 10-100mIU/ml, one dose of hepatitis B vaccination is sufficient. If the titer of hepatitis B surface antibody is less than 10mIU/ml, three doses of hepatitis B vaccine should be re-vaccinated according to the principle of 0, 1 and 6, and the quantification of the five hepatitis B items should be rechecked three months after the completion of all vaccinations to clarify whether the hepatitis B surface antibody has reached more than 100mIU/ml, and only if it reaches more than 100mIU/ml will it have a more desirable protective effect.
