You can take omeprazole enteric capsules for enteritis.
Enteritis is gastroenteritis, small intestine and colitis caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. Clinical manifestations include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dilute watery stools or mucous pus and blood stools. Omeprazole enteric-coated capsule is a kind of proton pump inhibitor, which inhibits gastric acid secretion and protects gastric mucosa, and can treat acid reflux, nausea and other symptoms caused by gastritis, duodenal ulcer and other gastrointestinal diseases. So enteritis can take omeprazole enteric-coated capsules.
The drug is a proton pump inhibitor, which can be specifically distributed in the secretory tubules of the wall cells of the gastric mucosa after oral administration, and converted into the active form of sulfenamide in this high acid environment, and then irreversibly combined with the sulfhydryl group of the proton pump in the secretory membrane of the wall cells through disulfide bonding to generate the complex of sulfenamide and proton pump, thus inhibiting the activity of the enzyme and blocking the secretion of gastric acid.
Clinically the drug is used in the treatment of gastritis, duodenal ulcer, stress ulcer, reflux esophagitis and so on.
There are adverse reactions such as diarrhea, headache, nausea, abdominal pain, gastrointestinal flatulence and constipation during the use of the drug.
It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to the product, those with severe renal insufficiency and infants.
When treating gastric ulcer, it should be examined in hospital to exclude the possibility of ulcerative gastric cancer; caution should be exercised for those with hepatic or renal insufficiency; the drug is an enteric-soluble capsule, so be careful not to chew it when taking it to avoid premature release of the drug in the stomach and thus affecting the therapeutic effect.
The drug should be used under the guidance of physician if necessary.
