How soon after carotid stenting to review

It is generally recommended to review one week after carotid artery stenting, six months after the operation and one and a half years after the operation.
1. One week after stenting: mainly review the blood indexes, such as thromboelastography, and adjust the dosage of antiplatelet drugs according to the examination results.
2. Six months after the operation: angiography can be performed to observe whether the stent position and shape are good, whether the blood flow in the original stenosis site is smooth, and to check whether there is new stenosis or intravascular plaque formation.
3. One and a half years after the procedure: review the blood indexes, and angiography can also be performed to further confirm whether the stent position and morphology are good, whether the blood vessels are smooth, and whether there is any new stenosis.
