Jisheng Kidney Energy Pill is composed of Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Radix Cinnamomum Cassiae, Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae, Radix Plantago Ovatae, Rhizoma Zedoariae, Rhizoma Ovatae, and Rhizoma Mudanensis. It has the effects of warming the kidney, transforming qi, inducing diuresis and eliminating edema. It is mainly used for the treatment of edema caused by insufficient kidney yang, internal retention of water-dampness (water-dampness stays in the body), lumbar and knee soreness, and dysuria (unruly urination). 2. Right Angelica Pill is composed of Chinese yam, Semen Cuscutae, Fructus Lycii, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Radix Eucommiae, Radix Angelicae Sinensis and so on. It has the effects of warming and tonifying kidney yang (warming and replenishing kidney yang qi), filling up essence and stopping ejaculation (filling up and stabilizing essence, preventing ejaculation and spermatorrhea). It is mainly used for the treatment of fear of cold, lack of spirit, lumbar and knee soreness and weakness (the feeling of soreness and weakness in the waist and knees), impotence and spermatorrhea caused by insufficiency of kidney yang and failure of vital fire (weakness of kidney yang in the organism, the function of warming and promoting the operation of qi and blood is reduced), impotence and spermatorrhea, loose stools, and frequent and clear urination. It is contraindicated in pregnant women and those with yin deficiency and fire (deficiency of yin and essence in the body and the appearance of hyperactive deficiency fire).
