Can you take a shower after receiving vaccination?

It is not recommended to give your child a bath within 72 hours after the vaccination. This is because in order to observe whether the child will have fever after the vaccination, whether there will be inflammation or abscess at the eye of the needle after the vaccination, or whether some allergic reactions will occur, and in order to be able to observe the child’s true state more correctly and avoid confusion with pediatric colds or special diseases, bathing is not allowed within 72 hours. Parents are also advised to closely observe the child’s reaction and not to feed the child a diet indiscriminately within 72 hours. Small infants should mainly be breastfed and no new supplemental food should be added during the supplemental food addition period. Try to have a light and easily digestible diet, and also avoid children going to public places to avoid causing colds and fever, which can be confused with normal vaccine reactions.
