If the symptoms are preceded by violence to the anterior chest such as impact, crushing, shock or a fall from a height or injury from a sharp object, there may be a heart injury. If the injury was not violent, there may be an abnormality in the heart itself, such as congenital heart disease or myocarditis. Whether it is a heart injury or not, these symptoms indicate that there is an abnormality in the heart or other parts of the body, so it is important to go to the cardiology department of a regular hospital and have an ECG or cardiac ultrasound done to confirm the diagnosis.
