Nedaplatin is a platinum-based antitumor drug, the third generation of platinum-based antitumor drugs after cisplatin carboplatin, which is mainly characterized by its better water solubility. It is a broad-spectrum and highly effective anticancer drug with less side effects than other platinum drugs. It has certain anti-cancer activity against tumors in several sites, such as head and neck cancer, ovarian cancer, esophageal cancer, bladder cancer and small cell lung cancer. The main side effect of this drug is bone marrow suppression, which can be manifested as a decrease in white blood cells, platelets and this hematocrit. Other common adverse reactions include nausea, vomiting and loss of appetite and other gastrointestinal symptoms, and may cause abnormal liver function, as well as some neurotoxicity, and may cause hair loss.
