Both nedaplatin and cisplatin are platinum-based chemotherapy drugs. Cisplatin is the longest-used and most widely used chemotherapy drug for malignant tumors. Nedaplatin, on the other hand, belongs to the second generation of platinum drugs and is mainly used in the treatment of lung cancer and head and neck squamous carcinoma. It is not as widely used as cisplatin in other malignancies, such as ovarian cancer or esophageal cancer. Therefore, there is no way to compare which is better, nedaplatin or cisplatin, only the difference between broader and narrower indications. The indications for cisplatin are broader, while the indications for nedaplatin are narrower.
