What are the ways of growth of malignant tumors

There are several ways of malignant tumor growth as follows: 1. Exophytic growth: mainly occurs in body surface tumors and intracorporeal tumors such as thoracic cavity and abdominal cavity. Tumors often grow toward the surface and protrude to form papillary, cauliflower or polyp-like masses; 2. Swelling growth: often nodular with complete envelope; 3. Infiltrative growth: without complete envelope, which is the common growth mode of most malignant tumors. Cancer cells can grow into and destroy surrounding tissues, lymphatic vessels and blood vessels, and tumors are often not easily pushed.
