Myopia of 2000 degrees can be treated by surgery. Myopia of 2000 degrees belongs to ultra-high myopia, which will lead to a serious decrease in the patient’s naked-eye vision, affecting normal life and work. If the patient is unable to wear glasses to correct the problem because of the needs of work or life, he/she can consider surgical treatment. Currently, myopia of 2000 degrees cannot be corrected by laser surgery, but can be treated by posterior chamber IOL implantation in crystalline eyes. During the surgery, an IOL lens customized according to the patient’s degree will be implanted inside the eye to correct the patient’s refractive defects, thus improving the patient’s naked eye vision. It is recommended to go to a regular hospital for the surgery.
