Chronic pharyngolaryngitis includes chronic pharyngolaryngitis and chronic laryngitis. Common symptoms include foreign body sensation, itching, burning, dryness or slight pain in the pharynx, as well as hoarseness and sore throat.
1. Chronic pharyngitis: generally no obvious systemic symptoms. Foreign body sensation, itching, dryness or slight pain in the throat. Frequent irritating cough with nausea in the morning. No sputum or only granular root powder-like secretion coughing out, atrophic pharyngitis patients can sometimes cough out a foul-smelling scab.
2. Chronic laryngitis: Hoarseness of varying degrees of severity is the main symptom of chronic laryngitis. Some patients have normal voice in the morning, but hissing occurs after too much speech; some patients have heavy hissing in the morning, and hissing decreases after speaking for a period of time or coughing up secretions from the larynx. The hoarseness may be relieved by paying attention to the voice and resting, but the hoarseness worsens and the sore throat increases after speaking too much.
If the above symptoms occur, it is recommended to consult a hospital for diagnosis and standardized treatment.
