The difference between Bio respiration and tidal respiration is mainly due to the different respiratory mode and different etiology, as follows.
1. Beale’s respiration, also known as intermittent respiration, is commonly caused by a weakened excitability of the respiratory center or a high degree of hypoxia. It is characterized by regular breathing for several times, then suddenly stopping breathing, and then starting to breathe again after a short interval, and so on repeatedly, that is, alternating between respiration and apnea;
2. Tidal respiration, also known as Chen-Shi respiration, is commonly due to decreased responsiveness of the respiratory center to carbon dioxide. It is manifested as a cyclical change of breathing from slowing down gradually to deep-fast, and then from deep-fast gradually to slowing down, and then after a period of respiratory pause, repeating the above process, in the form of the ebb and flow of the tide.
If anyone around you is experiencing abnormal breathing or other abnormalities, immediate medical attention is recommended.
