What’s wrong with headache and eye pain?

Headache and eye pain can be caused by eye lesions, organic brain lesions, or primary headache. Eye lesions are mainly caused by glaucoma and may also be accompanied by increased intraocular pressure, which can be seen in the ophthalmology department if necessary. If the headache is caused by organic brain lesions, most of them are caused by increased intracranial pressure. Patients with increased intracranial pressure may have increased intraocular pressure, manifesting as eye pain, headache, nausea, vomiting and somatic symptoms and signs. If primary headache is considered, it is common to have cluster headache, which may be accompanied by tearing and lid conjunctival congestion. The duration of headache varies from a few minutes to 180 minutes, and it can stop suddenly or ease slowly. The pain is regular, and most patients have nighttime headache attacks, which are mainly treated symptomatically.
