Liu Shen Wan treats throat conditions such as laryngeal wind and paralysis (redness, swelling and pain in the throat, or dryness, foreign body sensation, or itchy discomfort in the throat, and difficulty in swallowing), and double-single breast moth (related to tonsillitis in Western medicine). Liushen Wan can also treat furuncles (a skin disease that refers to severe boils (sores on the limbs or face, small in shape with deep roots and hard as nails)), carbuncle sores, children’s fever and convulsions (a pediatric disease that is characterized by dizziness, convulsions, and seizures), and general redness, swelling, and heat pain. Adverse reactions of Liu Shen Wan: nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort. Contraindicated in newborns. Contraindicated in pregnant women. Contraindicated for those who are allergic to the product.
