Generally speaking, shortness of breath after supraventricular tachycardia radiofrequency ablation may be caused by physiological factors, pathological factors such as supraventricular tachycardia, lung infection, etc. It can be treated by proper rest and application of drugs.
1. Physiological factors: it may be a normal postoperative reaction. As supraventricular tachycardia radiofrequency ablation will cause some damage to the heart, therefore, strenuous exercise and emotional tension may cause insufficient blood supply to the heart after the operation, which may lead to symptoms such as chest tightness and shortness of breath. It can be relieved by proper rest, and at the same time, avoid strenuous exercise, overwork, ensure sufficient sleep time, and do not stay up all night.
2. Pathologic factors:
(1) Supraventricular tachycardia: Supraventricular tachycardia may be caused after radiofrequency ablation of supraventricular tachycardia, which leads to arrhythmia, and in addition to shortness of breath, symptoms such as panic and fatigue may also occur. It can be treated with drugs such as amiodarone and propafenone under the guidance of doctor.
(2) Lung infection: It is mainly considered that the local tissue damage after surgery causes lung infection, and secretions and necrotic tissues obstruct the airway, which may lead to shortness of breath, chest tightness and so on. It can be treated with penicillin, ampicillin and other drugs under the guidance of the doctor.
In addition, bronchitis may also cause shortness of breath after supraventricular tachycardia radiofrequency ablation.
