Cold pack gel has no therapeutic effect on varicose veins. Cold pack gel is used to reduce fever by physical methods and is used for fever and trauma to relieve fever and analgesia. Varicose veins are caused by prolonged standing or heavy physical labor, which results in incomplete closure of valves and causes blood to flow backward, stagnation and tortuous veins. Therefore, cold gel has no therapeutic effect on varicose veins. Currently, there are three main treatments for varicose veins: non-surgical treatment, sclerotherapy and surgical treatment. Non-surgical treatment means compression of tortuous veins with compression stockings or elastic bandages; sclerotherapy is the use of sclerosing agents to cause inflammation and occlusion of the blood vessels, followed by compression of the lower limbs with a bandage; and surgical treatments include vein ligation, vein stripping and laser radiofrequency treatment. If you have varicose veins, please consult a doctor for treatment.
