What is endoscopic resection

Endoscopic resection can be divided into lumpectomy and electron gastroscopic resection. Lumpectomy is a procedure performed under general anesthesia, which generally involves the establishment of a carbon dioxide pneumoperitoneum and the use of specialized lumpectomy instruments under the guidance of a laparoscopic probe, which is less invasive, faster to recover and more aesthetically pleasing than traditional open surgery, and can be done for both benign and malignant diseases, and patients can return to normal earlier work, life and diet sooner. Electrogastroscopic resection is the removal of a growing polyp or mass under the gastroscope using instruments such as an electric knife or titanium nail, which can usually be performed under intravenous anesthesia without going into the operating room, but mainly for smaller or more superficial polyps, which generally require water fasting and gastrointestinal preparation.
