A positive hepatitis B test can be seen in any of a number of clinical states, but not every one of them is significant, and most of them are some kind of test error. One of the most likely states to be seen is a positive surface antibody for hepatitis B. This is a relatively good result, and is a sign that immunity to the hepatitis B virus has been gained after the hepatitis B vaccine, so don’t worry too much about it, as it is a good result. If it is purely positive for hepatitis B core antibody and the other four items are negative, it is also a state of hepatitis B recovery, and you can improve the quantitative examination of hepatitis B virus DNA to confirm it, or review the quantitative examination of hepatitis B five items. If the hepatitis B surface antigen is purely positive, it means that the hepatitis B virus may be infected, but the hepatitis B virus infection will have positive core antibody and E antibody at the same time, so this case should be rechecked for hepatitis B penta-quantitative test, which may be the error of the test. If the E antigen or E antibody of hepatitis B is positive alone, it is also possible that it is a testing error, and it is necessary to review it regularly.
