Low Back Pain Rehabilitation Concept

A lot of evidence-based medical evidence shows that active rehabilitation has significant advantages over passive treatment in the treatment of low back pain. Therefore, it is important to change the situation where passive treatment is dominant and promote the concept of active rehabilitation as the main rehabilitation treatment. It is in line with psychosocial principles, biomechanical principles, neurophysiological principles, and biochemical principles. Cognitive-behavioral, exercise, health education and multidisciplinary treatment are recommended, in addition to low back exercises and short-term controlled therapy. Physical therapy modalities such as acupuncture, injection therapy, intradiscal thermotherapy, spinal cord stimulation, and radiofrequency destruction of the dorsal ganglion are not recommended. Specific problems are treated specifically.
