Gas coming up from the throat may be considered related to acid reflux stimulation, and the causes may include malabsorption syndrome, functional dyspepsia, and consumption of gas-producing foods.
1. Malabsorption syndrome: It is mainly caused by insufficient secretion of digestive juices, overgrowth of bacteria in the digestive tract, dysmotility of the small intestine or lesions of the small intestine itself. Since gas is produced during the decomposition of food by bacteria, coupled with the dyskinesia of the digestive tract, the gas tends to return upwards and give rise to the above symptoms.
2. Functional dyspepsia: It may be due to mental factors (such as anxiety, depression), stress factors and so on. Common symptoms are early satiety, bloating, belching (burping) and so on.
3. Consumption of gas-producing food: such as drinking beer, carbonated beverages, etc., due to a large amount of gas ingestion, which can cause gastric distension, a large amount of gas will come up into the throat.
In addition to the above reasons, chronic gastritis, gastric ulcer and other diseases, as well as mental and psychological factors, can also cause the above symptoms. If the above symptoms are severe, or if the symptoms persist and do not improve, the patient should go to the hospital in time for treatment.
