I. Precautions before surgery: Patients with other diseases, such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, hematological system diseases, etc., need to be treated or consulted for these systemic diseases before doing nasal endoscopy surgery, and can only operate after they are basically normal, in order to minimize the risk of surgery. Patients should have sufficient sleep the night before surgery and try to be calm and mentally relaxed before surgery to avoid elevated blood pressure. Special attention should be paid to avoid having a cold and fever before the surgery. Second, post-surgery precautions: a small amount of blood exuding from the nasal cavity or spitting out mixed with sputum after surgery is a normal phenomenon, and can be treated with cold compresses with ice packs, pay attention not to swallow the blood. After the surgery, we need to strengthen the diet, mainly light and non-greasy food, not to reduce the amount of food due to pain, especially the morning of the day after the surgery to remove the nasal stuffing to advanced diet, to prevent the emergence of hypoglycemia. After discharge from the hospital, insist on rinsing the nasal cavity with saline once or twice a day to promote the recovery of nasal mucosa function. Most patients will have symptoms such as nasal congestion, excessive snot, blood in snot, poor sense of smell, odor, nasal cavity and head and face swelling and pain in a short period of time after nasal endoscopic surgery, which are caused by mucosal edema and blood crust formation in the operated cavity after nasal surgery. The symptoms will be relieved after cleaning.
