Normal urine routine and normal renal function can basically exclude nephritis, nephritis patients often show abnormal urine routine, renal function may be normal. Nephritis is referred to as glomerulonephritis, and the pathogenesis of glomerulonephritis is a series of symptoms and signs that appear due to the obstruction of the mechanical barrier or charge barrier of the glomerular basement membrane of the kidney. Because of the increased permeability of the glomerular basement membrane, so that the blood protein as well as red blood cells can be easily filtered out of the body, so glomerulonephritis urine routine is usually abnormal. In addition to protein and red blood cells, there are amino acids, glucose, acidity, pH, and type of tubular pattern in the urine routine. If these aspects of urine routine are normal, glomerulonephritis is extremely unlikely. In early stage of glomerulonephritis, renal function can be impaired transiently, which is manifested as a mild increase in blood creatinine, and the urine volume increases gradually after 1~2 weeks, and the renal function can be restored to normal gradually after a few days of diuresis. Therefore, a normal urine routine with normal renal function is usually not likely to be nephritis. Nephritis may present with symptoms of back pain, fatigue, anorexia, hematuria, proteinuria, changes in urine output, edema, hypertension and so on. If related symptoms occur, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for consultation and treatment under doctor’s guidance.
