What is the best thing to eat for urinary incontinence

Urinary incontinence is a common clinical symptom and can be categorized as urge incontinence, filling incontinence, stress incontinence and so on. Commonly used therapeutic drugs are solinacin, tamsulosin, terazosin, etc., according to the type of incontinence, the severity of the choice of drugs, there is no “what to take the best” statement. For patients with urge incontinence, anticholinergic drugs such as tolterodine and solifenacin can be used as prescribed by the doctor, but such drugs may cause constipation, urinary difficulties and other adverse reactions. In patients with overflow incontinence, alpha-blockers such as tamsulosin, terazosin, and doxazosin are commonly used to decrease the tone of the urethral smooth muscle and make it easier for the patient to empty the bladder. For patients with stress incontinence, commonly used drugs such as midodrine hydrochloride are also useful in increasing urinary resistance, promoting urethral contraction, and relieving the symptoms of urinary incontinence. However, patients with hypertension, hyperthyroidism and cardiovascular disease need to be used with caution. Due to individual differences, there is no best or fastest medication, usually doctors will choose the right medication for treatment according to the cause and type of urinary incontinence. Patients should follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the treatment, not blindly self-medication, in order to avoid ineffective treatment and delay the condition.
