Colonoscopy with polyps, removal of additional charges?

A colonoscopy with polyps and removal usually requires an additional charge. Colonoscopy is a test in which a colonoscope is inserted into the ileocecal region through the anus and the lesions of the colon are viewed from the mucosal side. If polyps are found in the colon or rectum that need to be removed, polypectomy is required, and there is usually a charge for the procedure. If the polyps are relatively small and few in number, they can be removed by means of colonoscopy, e.g., endoscopic sleeve resection, endoscopic mucosal resection. If the polyps are very large, more than two centimeters or very wide at the bottom, they cannot be removed endoscopically by mucosal stripping and therefore need to be treated by caesarean section. It is recommended that patients with polyps in colonoscopy should take timely surgical treatment under the guidance of the doctor, and should be regularly rechecked after surgery to prevent recurrence.
