Don’t miss the best time for antiviral treatment

Health is the most important thing, and anyone who finds out that he or she has a disease, how can he or she not actively seek treatment? However, there are tens of millions of patients with chronic hepatitis B in China, most of them are taking medication, but most of them are delayed. Is this alarming? Every year, hundreds of thousands of patients with chronic hepatitis B in China unfortunately leave this life because of the severity of their disease, which develops into cirrhosis, liver failure, liver cancer, because of ascites, vomiting blood, and hepatic encephalopathy. Because chronic liver disease is relatively insidious, many people are not detected and treated in time; there are many people who take medication and injections, but “go the wrong way”. Anyone who has pneumonia knows to play antibiotics, because that is caused by bacteria; many people know that chronic hepatitis B is caused by the hepatitis B virus, but do not know to antiviral treatment, although they are treating, but they are delayed. Can liver protection and enzyme-lowering drugs cure chronic hepatitis B? There are many liver protection and enzyme-lowering drugs that can effectively control symptoms in China. Patients with chronic hepatitis B who cannot yet receive antiviral medication for some reason need to temporarily apply liver protection and enzyme-lowering drugs to control their symptoms. For patients with acute hepatitis B, most of whom recover spontaneously, liver protectors and enzyme-lowering drugs can help reduce symptoms; many patients with severe chronic hepatitis B need temporary liver protectors and enzyme-lowering drugs to control symptoms. However, for chronic hepatitis B in general, many doctors, and more often patients, use adjuvant liver protection and enzyme-lowering drugs as the mainstay of treatment, and are satisfied with a temporary normalization of serum transaminases, yet these drugs have no effect on the virus, and the virus continues to replicate using liver protection and enzyme-lowering therapy alone, which may delay the disease. It is important to know that liver protection and enzyme-lowering drugs can only temporarily alleviate the disease, after stopping the drug will almost always relapse, so the drug with stop, the disease is sometimes good and bad, some patients also delayed antiviral treatment, but gradually aggravate the disease. The chronic hepatitis B must be treated with antiviral therapy Chronic hepatitis B varies in severity and is characterized by recurrent activity during the long course of the disease. Without antiviral treatment, most; patients will gradually get worse; some of them will progress to cirrhosis, liver failure and liver cancer. Disease progression may be insidious, with many cases progressing “asymptomatically”. Thus, without antiviral treatment, chronic hepatitis B is a progressive liver disease, a chronic liver disease with more serious consequences. Currently, although the effect of antiviral treatment for patients with chronic hepatitis B is not satisfactory, and many people cannot be converted from surface antigen (HbsAg) positive to surface antibody (anti-HBs) positive within 3-5 years to achieve the goal of healing, antiviral treatment can always inhibit viral replication and convert “major triplets” to “minor triplets”. However, antiviral treatment can always inhibit viral replication, convert “major triplet” to “minor triplet”, restore normal liver function, thereby steadily preventing the progression of the disease, and eventually even in a small number of patients, “minor triplet” disappears and cured.
