If the cervical epithelium shows a grade II verrucous lesion, this is an indication of a high-grade lesion of the cervical epithelium. This high-grade lesion can also be interpreted clinically as a deeper lesion that requires the next step in treatment, such as a conical resection of the cervix. The conical excision of the cervix can be done if the menstrual period is clean for 3-7 days without intercourse, and the blood test, leukorrhea test, and coagulation time are all normal. The main purpose is to cut the diseased tissue cleanly, which prevents the occurrence of cervical cancer and stops the lesions from developing further. The excised tissues need to be sent for pathological tests, mainly to know whether the lesions are clean or not.
