The causes of high eosinophils and basophils at the same time are both secondary causes due to allergic diseases and primary causes in the blood system.
1. Allergic diseases: Allergic diseases such as bronchial asthma, food allergy, drug allergy, parasitic diseases, urticaria, angioneurotic edema, allergic colitis, and so on, may lead to the simultaneous elevation of eosinophils and basophils.
2. Blood system diseases: The two types of cells can also be elevated by problems in the blood system itself, such as chronic granulocytic leukemia, myelofibrosis, acute leukemia, and so on.
If eosinophils and basophils are elevated at the same time, it is necessary to consult a doctor in time, make a clear diagnosis under the doctor’s guidance with further clinical examination, and treat reasonably in order to avoid delaying the condition.
