Half lotus has the efficacy of detoxifying and clearing heat, resolving blood stasis and diuretic. Sempervirens is the dried whole herb of Sempervirens, family Labiatae. It is pungent, bitter and cold in nature, and belongs to the liver, lung and kidney meridians, with the effect of detoxifying and clearing away heat, resolving blood stasis and inducing diuresis. This product can be used for boils and poisons (referring to all kinds of sores, boils and other skin redness, swelling and pain); snake and insect bites; sore throat, can be used with soil hyssop to clear heat and benefit the pharynx; bruises and pain, can be used with myrrh, frankincense and other qi activation of blood and pain reliever, treatment of bruises, stagnation, swelling and pain. It can also be used for edema, dysuria (unsmooth urination), ascites, and jaundice. It can be used alone or in combination with diuretic and dampness-expelling drugs such as Zedoaria and Psyllium to treat edema and dysuria caused by dampness-heat non-resolution. The product should be used with caution by those who are physically weak as well as pregnant women, and the adverse effects are not yet clear. The drug should be taken under the guidance of a doctor, not self-medication.
