What to take for stomach pain

Stomach pain is related to acute gastritis, peptic ulcer, gastric cancer and other diseases, which need to choose the appropriate treatment according to the cause. 1. Acute gastritis: stomach pain caused by acute gastritis can be treated with gastrointestinal antispasmodic agents, such as scopolamine; drugs to inhibit the secretion of gastric acid, such as famotidine, ranitidine, etc.; and gastric mucous membrane protective agents, such as colloidal bismuth pectin. 2. Peptic ulcer: gastric pain caused by peptic ulcer can be treated with gastric mucous membrane protection drugs, such as magnesium aluminum carbonate tablets, aluminum hydroxide gel, etc.; when there is Helicobacter pylori infection, quadruple therapy can be used, such as omeprazole, bismuth pectin, amoxicillin, clarithromycin and so on. 3. Gastric cancer: stomach pain caused by gastric cancer can be treated with endoscopic therapy in the early stage without lymphatic metastasis; progressive gastric cancer without systemic metastasis can be treated with surgery; after resection of the tumor, H. pylori should be removed as far as possible from the residual stomach; those with metastasis can be supplemented with chemotherapy, e.g. fluorouracil, cisplatin and so on. If stomach pain is not suitable, one should go to the hospital in time, and give targeted treatment after clarifying the cause.
