Cataract post-operative medication

On the second postoperative day, patients should visit our outpatient clinic for routine postoperative examination, after which they should receive tobramycin eye drops 4~5 times/day, 1 drop/drop.                                                                   Diclofenac sodium eye drops 4~5 times/day, 1 drop/drop.                                                                    Yang Haifeng, Ophthalmology Department, Wuda District Central Hospital, Wuhai City, China Tetracycline cortisone eye ointment 3 times/day, oral cephalosporin antibiotics for about 3 days, cephalosporin allergic patients can use other antibiotics (consult our doctors for details).                                For individual patients with severe postoperative corneal edema due to physical factors, subconjunctival injection should be performed if necessary. If necessary, subconjunctival injection should be performed. The patient’s condition should be reviewed according to medical advice.
