Early signs of throat cancer

Early signs of pharyngeal cancer may include nasal congestion with blood in the nasal mucus, foreign body sensation in the oropharynx or pharynx, or hoarseness. Pharyngeal cancer is the general name of nasopharyngeal cancer, oropharyngeal cancer and laryngeal cancer. Early stage of nasopharyngeal cancer patients often have nasal symptoms such as nasal congestion with blood in the aspirated nasal mucus; early stage of oropharyngeal cancer may have symptoms such as discomfort in oropharynx and foreign body sensation; early stage of laryngeal cancer may have symptoms such as foreign body sensation in pharynx, discomfort in swallowing, or hoarseness in voice, and so on. In the treatment of pharyngeal cancer, surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted integrated treatment methods are mostly used, and different treatment methods are adopted according to the different parts of tumor occurrence and invasion range. If there is nasal congestion with blood in nasal mucus, discomfort in oropharynx or pharynx or hoarseness, it is necessary to be alert to nasopharyngeal cancer, oropharyngeal cancer or laryngeal cancer, and the patient should seek medical treatment in time to complete relevant examinations, identify the cause and treat it.
