There are several side effects of Ekaplexone Tablets as follows: first, adverse reactions of the digestive system such as nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach discomfort, dry mouth, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal pain, abdominal distension, etc. Generally, the reactions are mild and can disappear after stopping the drug, and patients are advised to take it after meals; second, side effects of the mental nervous system such as insomnia and headache, sleepiness, stiffness, numbness of the limbs, loss of perception, and trembling of the limbs may occur. In severe cases, weakness of the limbs, unsteadiness and general lethargy may occur. Third, the patient’s blood pressure, liver function, kidney function and blood picture should be observed during the medication; once shock, abnormal liver function, abnormal kidney function and abnormal hematological examination occur, the medication should be stopped immediately and medical attention should be sought.
