Cervical lymph nodes suggesting a larger 1.0 x 0.3 centimeters on the left side are abnormal and are considered to be large cervical lymph nodes. Normal lymph nodes are usually within 0.5 centimeters in size. Neck lymph nodes are located in the triangle under the chin, normal people’s superficial lymph nodes are mostly within 0.5 centimeters in diameter, the surface is smooth, no tenderness, soft texture, and no adhesion with the surrounding tissues, more than 0.5 cm belongs to the enlarged lymph nodes. Causes of enlarged lymph nodes in the neck include upper respiratory tract infection, metastatic cancer in the neck and other diseases. Further examination, such as pathogenetic examination and fine needle aspiration cytology, should be done to determine the cause of the disease and make reasonable treatment according to the cause.
