What does high apolipoprotein B mean?

Apolipoprotein B is one of the many apolipoproteins. When Apo B is high in the body, it can indicate an increase in LDL cholesterol and very low-density lipoprotein levels in the body, indicating a higher chance of developing coronary heart disease, so there is a correlation between high Apo B and the incidence of coronary heart disease. Elevated Apo B may be associated with an unhealthy diet and physical inactivity. When Apo B is elevated, drug treatment is generally not needed. The main thing is to eat a light diet, less fatty food, and exercise when necessary. Especially in obese patients, weight control through diet and exercise, and regular review of Apo B level is sufficient.
