Is 20+ coffee spots neurofibromatosis?

Having more than 20 coffee spots on your body does not necessarily mean neurofibromatosis.
Coffee spots, also clinically known as milk coffee spots, can appear on any part of the body and are characterized by uniform color. Neurofibromatosis, on the other hand, is a chromosomal dominant disorder that is caused by a genetic defect.
Although it is said that neurofibromatosis is a common cause of the appearance of coffee spots, more than 20 coffee spots for the diagnosis of the disease has a certain value, but the appearance of more than 20 coffee spots is not necessarily neurofibromatosis.
