Eyelid twitching is caused by spasm of the eye muscles. There are many reasons for eyelid twitching, most of them are due to abnormal nerve function caused by peripheral plant nerve dysfunction, which can be improved by giving nerve-nourishing drugs and massage and hot compresses. If the twitching is visible to the naked eye, a CT or MRI examination in neurology is required to rule out other diseases of the skull. Often eye infections, refractive errors, excessive eye use, visual fatigue, and lack of sleep can trigger eyelid twitching, so try to avoid these conditions.
