Does Cordyceps help cancer patients?

Cordyceps has some relief for cancer patients with chronic cough and asthma, but Cordyceps cannot cure cancer.
Cordyceps is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine, for the ergot fungus Cordyceps parasitic bat moth larvae on the zygote and larval carcass of the dry complex. Cordyceps has the effect of tonifying the kidney and benefiting the lungs, stopping bleeding and resolving phlegm, and is used to treat kidney deficiency and essence loss, impotence and spermatorrhea, lumbar and knee pain, prolonged cough and asthma, and labor and hemoptysis and other diseases.
From the efficacy and function of this product, Cordyceps Sinensis is helpful for cancer patients with kidney deficiency and essence loss, impotence and spermatorrhea, soreness and pain in waist and knees, but it cannot be used for direct treatment of cancer.
This drug needs to be standardized under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners to identify the evidence. It is suggested that cancer patients should seek medical treatment in time to standardize the systematic treatment, and should not use the medicine blindly by themselves to avoid delaying the condition.
