The phenomenon of irregular menstruation is caused by pubertal menstrual disorders, perimenopausal menstrual disorders, endocrine diseases, post-caesarean section, and the use of special medications.
1. Adolescent menstrual disorders: In adolescence, the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis is not yet perfect, and the imperfect regulation will easily lead to irregular menstruation and dribbling phenomenon, which is called pubertal dysmenorrhea.
2. Perimenopausal menstrual disorders: in perimenopausal period, due to the gradual decline of ovarian function, resulting in ovarian insufficiency, perimenopausal menstrual dribbling occurs, but perimenopausal period needs to be differentiated from endothelial lesions.
3. Endocrine diseases: they may be caused by functional diseases, such as luteal insufficiency, luteal atrophy, or endometrial hyperplasia, proliferation, or due to organic lesions, such as tumors, endometrial polyps, cervical polyps, submucosal uterine fibroids, adenomyosis and so on, which can lead to prolonged and incomplete menstruation.
4. After cesarean section: It occurs in women with a history of cesarean section who may have uterine scar diverticulum, which can result in spotting after menstruation, manifested as dribbling.
5. After the use of special medications: some women use special medications, some of which can cause menstrual dribbling.
Dysmenorrhea is a clinical symptom of many kinds of diseases, and it is necessary to find out the cause and standardize the treatment in time, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
