How long does it take to ovulate after the follicle matures?

Normally, ovulation can occur 24-48 hours after follicle maturation. Follicular maturity is generally defined as a follicle that is 1.8-2.0 cm in length, with good internal sound transmission and echogenicity and a round shape, indicating a mature follicle, which occurs approximately 14 days before the next menstrual period. After the follicle has matured, it should be monitored again. If the follicle has been expelled, the chances of pregnancy are higher if you have intercourse as soon as possible. After the mature follicle has expelled its eggs, the thickness of the endometrium needs to be monitored regularly. When the thickness of the endometrium is 0.8-1.0 cm, it is easy for a fertilized egg to implant. If monitoring reveals large follicles that are not expelled, this may affect conception and requires repeated monitoring and, if necessary, the use of medication to promote follicular expulsion under medical supervision. In addition, if you want to prepare for pregnancy, you should take proper nutrition during the period to help the follicles develop. It is also important to combine work and rest, keep your mood relaxed and exercise properly to help ovulation.
