Cerebroxin Tong refers to Cerebroxin Tong Capsule, which is a proprietary Chinese medicine. Cerebro-Cardiac Capsules, consists of Astragalus, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Peach Kernel, Safflower, Boswelliae Miltiorrhizae (Prepared). It has the effect of benefiting qi and activating blood (tonifying qi and blood, making the body full of qi and blood, and blood veins smooth), resolving blood stasis and opening up collaterals. Cerebro-Cardiac Capsules are used for stroke in meridians caused by qi deficiency and blood stagnation, venous stasis, hemiplegia (one side of the limbs can not move at will), numbness of the limbs, crookedness of the mouth and eyes, strong tongue and speech and chest paralysis (chest tightness and pain), chest pain, chest tightness, palpitations (heartbeat accelerated, often accompanied by panic), shortness of breath; cerebral infarction, coronary angina pectoris belonging to the above symptoms. Note that patients with gastric problems should take it after meals.
